Geographical position and Climate of Jiangsu

Jiangsu Province is located along the eastern coast of China, bordered by the Yellow Sea to the east, Shandong Province to the north, Anhui Province to the west, and Zhejiang and Shanghai to the south. Jiangsu is characterized by its flat terrain, numerous rivers, lakes, and a vast network of waterways, including the Yangtze River that flows through its southern part.

The province has a humid subtropical climate with distinct seasons: Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter.

Best time to visit

The ideal time to visit the Province is during the spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) months. During these periods, the weather is generally mild and pleasant, making it suitable for sightseeing and outdoor activities.

  • Ferry services are available for certain routes, especially in the Yangtze River Delta region.
